Marc Anthony Repairing Macadamia Oil Shampoo and Conditioner : Review and Photos!

Hey, guys! Today I have a review and beauty product photography of a new shampoo and conditioner I tried. I just cut off about 6 inches off my hair. It was SO dead. SO DEAD. I have pretty healthy and happy curly hair about 7 months ago. Until I…
decided to go blonde. I was recommended this shampoo by my hair salon in Mississauga, as it has no sulfates and doesn’t break the bank when it comes to price. Each bottle was about $10. Pretty good deal.

The packing of these products is beautiful. Love the dark brown bottle with the pop of lime green and tied together with the white text.
The consistency of the shampoo is like a liquid hand soap but a little bit thicker. After I wet my hair I took  2 quarter size amounts and slathered it together in my palms. It lathered super nicely despite being Sulfate Free. (YAY!)
The conditioner is a thick paste-like consistency. I like how the colour of these are quite translucent due to my blonde hair.
One issue about the conditioner. it is NOT silicone free. It contains dimethicone. A silicone. Silicones can only be removed with sulfates and this shampoo is sulfate free. You probably won’t notice it at first but after a little while you will notice build up in your hair. This is the conditioner because it isn’t being removed by the shampoo. To go around this you can use a clarifying shampoo 1 – 2 times a month. Check out the Neutrogena Anti Residue Shampoo for Unisex, 6 Ounce clarifying shampoo. It is amazing at getting out residue from nasty silicones.
Overall, this shampoo has made my hair super soft and it added shine. I would recommend this duo to girl or guys who want to dabble in the world of health hair products on a budget.
Thank you so much for reading. I’d love to know your thoughts about this product.
